The Cavemen
London-via-New Zealand punks The Cavemen released their third LP, 'Nuke Earth,' on April 6th via Slovenly Recordings. A mix of rowdy punk and raw, scuzzy garage rock, it features frantic vocals, screeching guitars, and infectious riffs.
Starting as a quarantine project, old friends Matt Gordon (Helen of Troy, Kaiju Daisenso, The State Secedes) Lou Koster (Bona Roba) and Mike Ciasullo (52X, The Last Crime), virtually made a 4 song EP rooted in NYC rock n roll/Proto Punk music.
"The Foreigner" is a celebration of our signature blend of 50s R&B, Free-Jazz and Punk. It shows our loves of outre icons as the Stooges, Captain Beefheart, Dr. Feelgood, and The Fall.
