Our verdict
An absolute stormer of a debut release by the Kiwi solo artist, and an incredible video to go with it!
Sounding like a mix between Nothing But Thieves, Band of Horses, Shiny Toy Guns and The Police, this really does jump from genre to genre, especially when the Van Halen/Zak Wylde style guitar cuts in.
There is no denying that the end result is beautiful.
Rarely is a debut single so polished and perfect, but this really is an exception. Hopefully there is a lot more to come from the talented New Zealander.
