Our verdict

Alabama’s Keyton has spent the last 15 years in this game, and latest single ‘The Good, The Bad, And The Boy’ proves he’s honed his craft. Opening to a delicate acoustic chords, Keyton’s voice comes in telling tales of heartbreak and, ultimately, overcoming them. A hooky chorus that sticks in the brain like duct tape, it’s beauty is in its melancholic subject told with upbeat melodies.

It’s the sort of track that could easily be heard in a coming of age film (think A Cinderella Story and you’re pretty much there). Punchy, affecting and catchy as hell, add this one to your playlists immediately.
